The streak of earthquakes hitting the United States continued on Monday morning.

The United States has been home to several notable earthquakes over the past month or so. Northern California was hit by a big 7.0 magnitude earthquake at the start of December. Later that month, Alaska experienced a couple of different earthquakes. The Midwest and South were also home to some quakes, with seven different earthquakes hitting at the same time at one point.

The earthquakes are not stopping in 2025.

Monday morning, Louisiana was home to an earthquake. Thankfully, it was a mild one.
