Peyton and Eli Manning might be retired from professional football, but they are still very much a part of the NFL world - and the sports media world as a whole.
The legendary NFL quarterbacks, who won four combined Super Bowls - Peyton won one each with Indianapolis and Denver, while Eli won two with the Giants - have made big-time moves in the sports media world.
Omaha Productions, created by the former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback, has been producing a ton of content. It's responsible for the ManningCast broadcasts on "Monday Night Football" and it's getting into the world of scripted content, too.
The production company will be producing the upcoming Chad Powers TV series that stars Glen Powell playing a college football quarterback. It's based on a prank video done by Eli Manning, in which the former Ole Miss quarterback goes under disguise to try to walk onto the Penn State team.
Omaha Productions has been making investments on their own, too. They've been investing into Good Good Golf, which is one of the biggest creators in the online golf community.
And, recently, Peyton and Eli's company received some big-time financial news on their own.
According to Axios, Peyton and Eli's company has been valued at close to $1 billion.
This year, Omaha Productions landed a big-time investment from Endeavor executive chairman Patrick Whitesell, who, according to Axios, "is leading a new, yet-to-be named sports, media and entertainment investment platform."
Omaha Productions has reportedly received a valuation of $800 million. The company has reportedly been profitable every year since its launch in 2020. Last year, the company received a $10 million investment from Peter Chernin's North Group Company, valuing them at $400 million.
But in the span of about a year, they've doubled their valuation, skyrocketing to $800 million.
Peyton Manning is excited.
"All of us at Omaha are excited to get to work with Patrick and Egon as our new teammates to grow the business and create new opportunities for fans," Peyton Manning said.
"Peter Chernin and his team have been great partners over the past two years and have helped us build a strong foundation. I'm very excited for all of us to work together to continue to build Omaha."
