President Trump is synonymous with many things and golf certainly ranks among them. But as much as he loves golf, he also enjoys spending time on the golf course with some of the biggest names in sports, media and politics. He did just that today.

On Saturday afternoon, President Trump took to his Truth Social platform and shared that he played a tournament at his Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach County. While the big photo op was done with heavy-hitting politicians including Finland President Alexander Stubb, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and former U.S. Congressman Trey Gowdy, he was also there with the legendary golf megastar Gary Player.

"I just played a round of Golf with Alexander Stubb, President of Finland. He is a very good player, and we won the Men's Member-Guest Golf Tournament at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach County, with the Legendary Gary Player, Senator Lindsey Graham, and former Congressman and highly successful Television Host, Trey Gowdy. President Stubb and I look forward to strengthening the partnership between the United States and Finland, and that includes the purchase and development of a large number of badly needed Icebreakers for the U.S., delivering Peace and International Security for our Countries, and the World. President Stubb told me, in the most powerful of words, that the United States is STRONG, and BACK, AGAIN. I AGREE!" he wrote.

Trump certainly buried the lede a little bit by offhandedly mentioning that Player was there. The 89-year-old golfer ranks among the greatest of all-time, winning nine majors including three green jackets at the Masters between 1961 and 1978.

Player's incredible career included 159 career professional wins, including 24 in the PGA Tour, dozens of wins in various South African tours, and 22 Senior PGA Tour wins.

That's a pretty big name to be having at a pretty casual tournament.

It's no wonder that Trump is claiming victory.
