Patrick Mahomes Shares Adorable Story About Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been nothing but complimentary when talking about Taylor Swift. That won't change anytime soon. 

Prior to the start of the 2024 season, Mahomes gave Swift credit for bringing a new demographic of fans to the NFL. The three-time Super Bowl champion said, "I think the biggest thing that I noticed during the season was just that the kids that were becoming more and more fans, and you would see it through social media, you'd see it through games that we traveled to, it's just you would see more younger girls that were fans of the Chiefs and wanted to really embrace football, and I thought that was cool to see." 

During an appearance on 96.5 The Fan this Tuesday afternoon, Mahomes was asked about Swift. He ended up sharing an awesome story about the pop singer's baking skills. 

It turns out that Swift likes to bake with Mahomes' 3-year-old daughter, Sterling.  

"She's never like baked anything specifically for me, but she's made different treats that have been around my house, like muffins and donuts and stuff like that," Mahomes said. "Sterling's a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes. I'm not gonna say I don't eat them. So, it is good as everybody's talked about and she's great as far as it comes to baking." 

It's pretty apparent that Swift has developed a nice relationship with the Mahomes family. 

NFL fans should expect to see Swift at this Sunday's game between the Chiefs and 49ers. It'll be a rematch of last season's Super Bowl.
