NFL Fans React To Cris Collinsworth's Sunday Night Performance

NFL fans appear to be getting sick of Cris Collinsworth on Sunday Night Football.

The Detroit Lions are hosting the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field on Sunday Night Football. Detroit and Minnesota, both 14-2 on the year, are playing for the NFC North - and No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. Mike Tirico is on the call with Collinsworth, with Melissa Stark on the sideline.

NFL fans have been treated to a close game, with the Lions leading the Vikings, 7-6, late in the second quarter. But NFL fans have been growing tired of Collinsworth. Most NFL fans seem to think that he just talks too much.

NFL fans have been taking to social media to react to Collinsworth's performance.

"Cris Collinsworth just never shuts the hell up. Couldn't imagine paying that man millions to speak," one fan wrote.

"In the year 2025 we must have the option to mute Collinsworth," one fan added.

"I do not like Cris Collinsworth as an announcer. There, I said it," one fan added.

"Cris Collinsworth is making it hard for me to carry on with Dry January. I swear to all that is Holy, this man just loves to hear himself talk And talk And talk," one fan added.

Collinsworth has taken heat for his comments on Sam Darnold, along with the criticism of the NFL's lack of delay of game penalties.

"Everyone watching this game correctly sees Darnold as the problem for the Vikings so far, except for Collinsworth," one fan wrote.

"Collinsworth is a narc shut up about the clock," one fan added.

While NFL fans might be frustrated by Collinsworth, he's not going anywhere. The NBC announcer has signed a new four-year extension with the network.

Tirico and Collinsworth will serve as NBC's top NFL team for the foreseeable future.
