Patrick Mahomes has made basically zero bad headlines throughout his legendary NFL career. The same cannot be said of his family.

This week, Mahomes' wife, Brittany, was reportedly caught liking a controversial Donald Trump MAGA post. The post has no longer been liked by Brittany, who is upset with the haters.

"To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood," Brittany Mahomes posted. "There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."

She added: "I mean honestly."

Patrick, meanwhile, has tried to stay completely neutral.

"I don't want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president," Mahomes said, per Time magazine.

"I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research."

NFL fans continue to feel bad for Patrick amid his family drama.

"She's the worst," one fan wrote.

"When she refers to haters, she's obvs talking about Trump, right?" one fan added.

"Don't worry, Brittany Mahomes will get a reality check when Taylor Swift doesn't let her in the booth at games anymore," one fan added.

Not everyone thinks Patrick is worth feeling bad over, though.

"Yall being surprised Brittany Mahones is a MAGA is funny, yall acting like Patrick didn't marry that annoying girl because he shares the same views as her is even funnier," one fan added.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, are getting ready to start the 2024 NFL season on Thursday, Sept. 5 against the Ravens. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. E.T. on NBC.
