The Best Dressed Sideline Reporters In Football (1:08)

Shannon Sharpe went viral on social media on Wednesday when a racy Instagram Live video began playing from his account.

The former NFL star, who now works for ESPN and hosts his own podcast, initially claimed that his account was hacked. However, that statement was later taken down from his Instagram Story. Now, Sharpe is saying that he'll be addressing the video on his podcast on Wednesday night. "You know why we're going live," his show announced. The Instagram Live video played for a couple of minutes and, while you couldn't see anything, you could hear a woman moaning in the background. NFL fans quickly began speculating about what was going on.

Jane Slater, a reporter for the NFL Network, appeared to share her reaction to the video on social media.

Slater, who mostly covers the Cowboys for NFL Network and attended the University of Texas, had a seven-word reaction to the post.

"So he's got that dawg in him 🤣🤣🤣," she wrote, noting one of Sharpe's famous phrases.

Sharpe, 56, is believed to be single. He starred in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, winning three Super Bowls and making five All-Pro teams. He's widely considered to be one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, with 815 career catches and 10,060 yards. Sharpe had 62 career touchdowns.

He previously worked for Fox Sports 1, debating Skip Bayless every day on "Undisputed." But Sharpe left Bayless - and Fox Sports 1 - for ESPN. He now debates Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's morning show, "First Take."

Sharpe is probably not going to address his Instagram Live video on ESPN, but it sounds like he'll be talking about the video on his personal podcast on Wednesday evening.

What do you expect the former NFL star to say about his video?
