Mike Tomlin is one of the best quotes in the National Football League.

The Pittsburgh Steelers head coach is known for being extremely blunt and to the point with reporters during his press conferences. Tomlin is one of the best head coaches in recent NFL history, winning two Super Bowls, so he's certainly in position to take hard stances with the media. Few, if any, are in position to question him about his job performance. The Steelers are off to a good start in 2024, too, going 5-2 through the first seven games of the year.

Tomlin has been outspoken about things outside of football, too. He's made it clear where he stands politically.

Tomlin, 52, is left leaning.

The future Hall of Fame head coach has donated to Democratic campaigns in the past. He endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016 and donated to her campaign. He also hosted an expensive fundraiser for the Democratic Party nominee.

From a report in 2016:

As a matter of fact, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will be putting himself in the thick of things on Tuesday, when he's expected to host a luncheon that will serve as a fundraiser for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

According to an event invitation obtained by TribLIVE.com, tickets to the event will cost anywhere between $10,000 and $33,400. The more expensive ticket will include a meeting with both Clinton and Tomlin.

Tomlin is surely endorsing Kamala Harris for president in 2024, too. Election Day is less than two weeks away at this point.

The Pittsburgh Steelers head coach is obviously focused on football right now, but he knows that there are more important things out there, too.

The Steelers, now led by quarterback Russell Wilson, are set to take n the Giants on ESPN's Monday Night Football this week.
