Former USC Trojans great Matt Leinart appeared to reveal which way he leans politically on July 4.
The former Heisman Trophy winner, who now works as an analyst for FOX, shared quite the photo on the Fourth of July. Leinart shared a photo with Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
"Happy 4th," he wrote.
The photo quickly went viral, with some criticizing Leinart for sharing it.
"hopefully Ted Cruz has the same level of electoral success as you had in the NFL," one fan wrote.
"You already sucked but this puts you over the top," one fan added.
"But if it was Adam Schiff everyone would be thanking him. Good on Matt," one fan added.
"Love that Matt doesn't give af about the whiney leftists in the comments and just lives his life. My man just does his thing. My respect for you continues to grow brother. 🤝," one fan added.

Leinart had a brief career in the NFL following his legendary stint with the USC Trojans.
Now, he works as an analyst for Fox Sports, covering college football alongside Urban Meyer, Reggie Bush and Brady Quinn, among other analysts.
