10 months ago Sweden's Ludvid Aberg shocked the world by coming from seemingly out of nowhere to finish second in the Masters. With the prestigious golf major just two months away, Aberg just built a ton of momentum for himself.

Aberg claimed victory at the Genesis Invitational today, edging out clubhouse leader Maverick McNealy with a birdie on the 18th hole to avoid a playoff and claim his second-ever PGA Tour victory.

Supporting Aberg for all of the big moments was his longtime girlfriend Olivia. In a viral interview following the tournament, Olivia expressed how proud she was of her man and how impressed she is in how he acts both on and off the course course.

"I think it's just a mixture of proud (and) emotional because he works so hard and just to see it all pay off. Especially being here last time and how sick he was. We kind of called it a redemption tour in a way. I'm so impressed with who he is on and off the golf course. Honestly, he's just the best human and he's just so professional. Acts like a champ, is a champ. Yeah, he's just the best.

Hailing from Manchester in the United Kingdom, Olivia Jorgi Peet played tennis at Texas Tech and now runs her own health and fitness platform.

Since meeting Aberg, the two have been inseparable, with Peet posting photos and videos from all of their incredible trips around the world together:

"13 year old me would have slightly been freaking out," she wrote at last year's Wimbledon tennis tournament.

"Loved cheering my scandi boy on in Paris, so proud of you!" she wrote at the Summer Olympics in Paris.

Aberg's 2024 season on the PGA Tour was a mixed bag results-wise. His 8th-place finish in The Players Championship preceded his runner-up finish at the Masters.

In the ensuing PGA Championship, he missed the cut. But then he surged back in the U.S. Open, making the cut and taking the solo lead after the second round before finishing in 12th. His year on the majors ended with a missed cut at the Open Championship.
