Meet Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend (1:19)

Fresh off of a sensational rookie season in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark is using her extended offseason to improve her golf game. She's going to be getting her first real taste of competitive golf at the upcoming LPGA Pro-Am - and everyone's going to get a chance to see it.

According to CBS, Clark will be participating in The Annika on Wednesday, November 13. Clark will be paired with two of women's golf's biggest stars, two-time major  winner Nelly Korda and 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam, the tournament host. But after initially not planning to broadcast the competition, the LPGA and Golf Channel have agreed to televise it.

"Initially, there were no plans to broadcast or stream Clark's round, much to the dismay of her legion of fans. In response to repeated requests, the LPGA and Golf Channel have decided to provide some coverage after all," CBS reported.

Per the report, the LPGA's social media channels will feature wall-to-wall coverage of Clark doing everything from her pre-round warm-ups to mid-round interviews. Additionally, the Golf Channel will be changing some of their scheduling in order to bring live looks at Clark whenever she is up to the tee.

Clark's tee time on Wednesday at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida will be at 7 a.m. ET. She will play the front nine with Korda, a two-time winner of the event, and the back nine with Sorenstam.

Clark has long-professed a love of golf and her desire to improve. She's even said that she would have tried to be a pro golfer if she hadn't been a basketball player.

"I love golf, so the opportunity to play in the pro-am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam's name on it is so exciting," Clark said last month. "Gainbridge is a leader in supporting women's sports, and that's clear through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King and Parity Week. I'm looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women's Leadership Summit, and of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika."
