A legendary wrestling star is getting divorced after just six years.
Ric Flair, one of the most iconic stars in wrestling history, announced some tough marital news this week. The iconic wrestling star married his wife, Wendy Barlow, in 2018. But after six years of marriage, the wrestling star and his wife have decided to separate.
"I think it's important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to part ways respectfully," Flair said.
"I'll never be able to thank her enough for standing by my side through my terrible health crisis in 2017. She never left my side! And for that, I will always be grateful."
Flair and his wife separated once before, in 2022. Flair cited their hectic schedules as part of the reason for why the marriage didn't work.
"We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work," Flair said.
"I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine."
Our thoughts are with Ric and his friends and family members during this difficult time.
