As important as Wednesday's Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans matchup is, it might not even be the biggest show at NRG Stadium that day.

That honor belongs to Beyonce, who will perform at halftime of Ravens-Texans, the second game of the NFL's Christmas Day doubleheader. A Houston native, the R&B superstar will undoubtedly draw eyeballs to Netflix's stream who don't care about football but just want to watch her concert at intermission.

Even some of the guys playing in the game are looking forward to seeing Beyonce, including Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. On Monday, Jackson told reporters how excited he was that Beyonce was performing when one of them asked if he was disappointed to miss her set.

"Nah, 'cause I'm going to go out there and watch," Jackson said. "I'm going to go out there and watch, man. It's my first time watching Beyonce perform and it's at our game? That's dope. I'm going to go out there and watch. Sorry, (head coach John) Harbaugh. Sorry, fellas."

We'll have to wait to see if Jackson is serious. He wouldn't be the first player to skip the locker room to watch a halftime show, something Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson did at Super Bowl LVI.

Asked if the Ravens would need to have a big enough lead at halftime for Jackson to put his plan in motion, the two-time MVP said that doesn't matter.

"I'm not even thinking about the lead, I'm just thinking about just seeing Beyonce for the first time," Jackson said. "Not sounding like that, no disrespect, because I know how people can take things."

The Ravens and Texans will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET. The first game of the day, featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, will get underway at 1 p.m. ET.

Both games, and their halftime performances, will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
