Meet The SI Swimsuit Model People Are Calling "The Next Kate Upton" (1:06)

Kate Upton has had some legendary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue photoshoots over the years.

The three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover model has posed in nothing but "Body Paint" and on some truly exotic and wild beaches. But her "zero gravity" photoshoot might have been the coolest of them all. Upton, who is married to Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander, posed in a zero gravity machine, making for a truly iconic photoshoot.

It was special.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue photographer James Macari was the one who took the photos.

"I'm not doing real well but I think Kate is doing amazing!" Macari could be heard saying.

SI Swimsuit added: "American model and actress Kate Upton gets the opportunity of a lifetime to pose for SI Swimsuit, while defying gravity in a zero g photoshoot."

Upton has been a part of some wild shoots over the years, but it had to be weird to be photographed while floating all over a zero gravity machine, right?

The photos did turn out pretty well, though.

Perhaps we'll see something like this being brought back in 2025 or beyond.

Who would you like to see posing in zero gravity?
