Jimmy Charles Getting Ripped For Worst National Anthem Performance Ever
01/04/2025 04:48 PM
Prior to kickoff between the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, singer Jimmy Charles performed the national anthem. Unfortunately, it didn't go very well.
The Ravens held a moment of silence for former United States president Jimmy Carter prior to introducing Charles to the crowd at M&T Bank Stadium. The country singer then tried his best to inspire every fan in attendance. Let's just say he didn't execute his plan to perfection.
Immediately after Charles finished his rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner," fans hopped on social media to mock him. Most people believe he delivered the worst national anthem performance in NFL history
"JFC Jimmy Charles, that is one of the WORST 'national anthem' performances of all time…," one fan said.
Another fan tweeted, "Turned on this [expletive] just in time to hear the worst anthem performance I've ever heard on national television."
"That Jimmy Charles rendition of the national anthem legitimately might make people leave this country," a social media user joked.
"Jimmy Charles just killed the national anthem," a fourth person wrote. "What was that?"
Prayers up to Jimmy Carter and Innocent people who were killed in New Orleans ❤️

Those are just some of the comments being made right now on social media. Some of them are far more harsh than the ones we shared.
The criticism is getting so out of hand that people have flocked to his Instagram page to comment on his old posts.
"Bro, that was horrible. Sorry but someone has to be honest with you," an Instagram user said.
"I had to mute my TV to keep my dog from howling," another user commented.
The next few hours might be rough for Charles. We're hoping he can at least enjoy the game between the Browns and Ravens.
The Ravens can clinch the AFC North title with a victory this afternoon.
