Legendary weatherman Jim Cantore has officially picked his Winter Storm Cora location and terrified local residents in the process.
Winter Storm Cora is set to hit this weekend. The winter storm is moving from south to east, targeting many notable cities on the East Coast, along with in the southern states. The storm is expected to bring snow and ice to many southern cities, including Dallas, Shreveport, Little Rock, Birmingham, Atlanta, Memphis and Raleigh. The storm is expected to have "several" inches of snow and ice, beginning on Thursday. Up north, there will be lighter snow.
Cantore, the legendary weatherman known for tracking hurricanes, has officially picked his location for Winter Storm Cora. Typically, when Cantore does this for a hurricane, it means local residents should get the heck out of there. If Cantore is in your town with a storm approaching, it means things are going to get interesting.
On Thursday, Cantore officially picked his Winter Storm Cora location.
Cantore has landed in Nashville, Tennessee ahead of the storm's approach.
