In a year that has seen Caitlin Clark pick up countless individual accolades, she has picked up yet another one as the 2024 All-WNBA team was unveiled.

On Wednesday, the Indiana Fever announced that Clark was named to the All-WNBA First Team. She becomes the first rookie in over 15 years and just the fifth rookie in history to be named to the All-WNBA First Team. Clark is also just the second player in Fever history to earn the honor after Tamika Catchings. In 2024, Clark averaged a league-leading 8.4 assists per game along with 19.2 points per game as she helped lead the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016.

"Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was named to the 2024 All-WNBA First Team, the league announced today. Clark received 52 First Team votes from a national panel of 67 sportswriters and broadcasters. Clark joins Tamika Catchings, who was a 7-time All-WNBA First Team recipient, as the only players in franchise history to earn All-WNBA First Team honors. Clark was also named the WNBA Rookie of the Year on October 3 and Associated Press Rookie of the Year on September 22," the team announced in a statement.

"Clark is the first rookie since Candace Parker in 2008 to be selected to the All-WNBA First Team, and the fifth rookie honored since 2000, joining Sue Bird (2002), Catchings (2002) and Diana Taurasi (2004)."

Clark's rookie season included single-season and single-game records for assists, breaking the rookie single-game scoring record and becoming the first rookie to record a triple-double.

Clark was named to the All-Star Game and was voted the WNBA Rookie of the Year.

While Clark was not a unanimous pick to win most of her accolades, only three players received more First Team votes than she did.

Up next on the agenda: Winning a WNBA title in 2025 or later.
