Meet The World's Hottest Cop (1:01)

Bud Light is all-in on football season.

The world's biggest light beer has officially signed a prominent quarterback to an endorsement six weeks into the 2024 NFL regular season. Bud Light, which came under fire from the right last year for a controversial influencer deal, has been getting back in the good graces of football fans. It went a step further on Thursday, when it announced a major endorsement.

Bud Light has signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield to a deal.

Bud Light announced the Mayfield signing on Thursday morning, on social media.

"Just signed Baker to the Bud Light roster. Think we got a little carried away," they announced.

Mayfield, who led the Buccaneers to the playoffs last year, recently got some big-time praise from Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman.

"He's the ultimate teammate," Gronkowski said on his "Dudes on Dudes" podcast

"He's like the ultimate locker room guy. Quarterbacks aren't really like this. He's a quarterback that will go have a beer at the bar and get f----d up with you. ... You can just tell he's a guy like that. He's a guy that will come over and chop it up while watching the game. ... He's a guy that wants to see you be an absolute dog. He's a guy that's cheering you on."

The "ultimate locker room guy" is now a big part of Bud Light.

The Bucs, 4-2 on the year, are scheduled to take on the Ravens on Monday. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
