Meet The Wife Of Ohio State Coach Ryan Day (1:51)

You know tonight's College Football Playoff at the Cotton Bowl is a big game when ESPN breaks out two sideline reporters.

Laura Rutledge and Holly Rowe are splitting the sideline duties at AT&T Stadium tonight. Prior to the game, Rowe, who has been at ESPN for three decades, spoke with Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, while Rutledge interviewed Texas' Steve Sarkisian. This was right before kickoff, but Rowe has been sharing content on social media all afternoon and evening.

Earlier, she posted a selfie showing off some of her silver outfit for the big game.

"When the light hits just right!!! ⁦@CottonBowlGame ⁩ tonight! ⁦@espn," Rowe said.

Rowe is quite well-respected by fans for her work, with many excited to see the Utah native as part of tonight's broadcast crew.

"The gold standard Holly Rowe," one commenter said.

"College Football is 'better' with Holly Rowe in the house….MUST be an important game," a second fan added.

"Looking fab Holly! Have fun!!" a third person said.

"Holly Rowe! On of the very best in her field! Keep it up!" a fourth viewer added.

"Really the best in the business!" a fifth person chimed in.

ESPN has its entire "A" team on tonight's game, with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth. The winner of the Cotton Bowl will move on to face Notre Dame for the national championship on Jan. 20.

So far, Ohio State has controlled things. The Buckeyes lead 7-0 on a first-quarter touchdown run by Quinshon Judkins, which capped off a 10-play, 64-yard scoring drive.

Most importantly, Ohio State has dominated defensively, sacking Quinn Ewers three times and shutting down the Longhorns' offense for the most part. Right now, Ewers does not look comfortable, and has been outplayed by his opposing counterpart Will Howard.

We'll see if this holds up as the night goes on.
