A member of the Georgia Bulldogs football team has been arrested.

According to reports, wide receiver Nitro Tuggle was arrested on Thursday morning by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. He was slapped with misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and speeding.

"Georgia wide receiver Nitro Tuggle was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor charges of speeding and reckless driving according to the Athens Clarke County online jail report," Anthony Dasher of UGASports reported.

"Per the report, the sophomore was arrested by the Athens Clarke County police and booked Thursday at 1:56 a.m. ET.

"He was released at 2:55 a.m. on bonds totaling $26."

Georgia has garnered a reputation in recent years for its players getting arrested frequently. As a result, the responses to this news have largely been from people mocking the program:

"The 30 for 30 on this phenomenon is going to be generational," one user joked.

"Death, Taxes, UGA players not knowing how to operate an automobile," wrote another.

"This is like groundhog day for football. You know the spring is here when a UGA player gets arrested for reckless driving."

"Is reckless driving just a standard part of team orientation at this point?"
