The San Francisco 49ers earned yet another win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, cementing their dominant status in the most recent iterations of the long-standing rivalry between the two franchises.

After the game, 49ers stars George Kittle and Brock Purdy were being interviewed on the field, when star defensive end Nick Bosa walked into the frame and pointed at his "Make America Great Again" hat.

Bosa was asked about his statement during Kittle and Purdy's interview, but the former Defensive Player of the Year refused to elaborate on the reason behind his decision.

"I'm not gonna talk too much about it," said the former No. 2 overall pick. "But I think it's an important time."

During a recent episode of his show "The Right Time," sports media personality Bomani Jones called out Bosa for not doubling down on his statement.

"Somebody asked him about it in the press conference after the game. I mean, he was putting on for Trump. What do you mean you aren't gonna talk too much about it, partner?," Jones asked.

"You made that call; you did that. You brought us here. You decided that you wanted to put that out there, and that's an important time."

Jones then explained that he wanted to hear from Bosa since he made a point to use his platform during his teammates' interview after the game. After drawing attention to himself and his message on the field, Jones said that he simply wanted to know why Bosa refused to do so at the podium.

"Last thing I'm gonna pretend I know anything about is what Nick Bosa thinks. On the media end, it becomes important to ask people questions when they ask for attention. He wanted the attention for what he did. Give it to him," Jones said.

"I'm not telling that man to shut up and rush the passer. No, I'm telling him to do the opposite. I'm saying speak up, playboy. I can't really understand what it is that you're talking about, but I'd like to know a little bit more about your position. Could you tell me, please?"

Many have criticized Bosa for his refusal to elaborate on his post-game message. With the presidential election now only one week away, we'll see if he changes his mind between now and next Tuesday.
