Classic ESPN Show Is Getting Canceled (1:15)

ESPN's Monday Night Countdown crew delivered an unforgettable moment for a couple at SoFi Stadium.

Before Monday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, the MNF team conducted an impromptu gender reveal for two fans attending the game in Inglewood. ESPN must have noticed their signs reading, "We're pregnant with the next Ravens fan" and "Tell us if it's a boy or girl" before spontaneously deciding to assist on live TV.

"I've never been this nervous on television," Scott Van Pelt said before opening a letter they gave them with the gender.

Van Pelt passed the paper to Ryan Clark, Jason Kelce, and Marcus Spears. They counted down to three before simultaneously declaring, "It's a boy!"

"We're bringing families together," Van Pelt said. "It's a Thanksgiving miracle."

The couple hugged, kissed, and cried after learning the news from four strangers. They shared the moment with everyone around them and ESPN's viewing audience.

Spears insisted the gender reveal wasn't in the show's rundown.

"For everybody at home, literally, this was not planned," he said. "They were standing there with a sign, and they wanted us to do a gender reveal."

"So we did," Van Pelt added.

The evening could get even better for those fans if the Ravens leave with a road win.

Looking to bounce back from a tough Week 11 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore is up 14-13 at halftime. Lamar Jackson threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman and juked his way to a 10-yard rushing score.

The second half probably won't have any more gender reveals, but fans can watch the rest of a close AFC contest on ESPN.
