The NFL's Current 10 Biggest Rivalries (1:35)

A battle of NFC South teams will be the feature attraction for Thursday Night Football tonight as the Atlanta Falcons host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Falcons have had an up-and-down start to their 2024 campaign with new quarterback Kirk Cousins. They've alternated losses and wins in each of their four games and are currently 2-2 on the season. The team is in the middle of the pack in nearly all major categories.

The Buccaneers are continuing to thrive under the surprisingly dynamic duo of head coach Todd Bowles and quarterback Baker Mayfield. They're 3-1 on the season and rank in the top 12 for points scored and points allowed. Mayfield has an 8-2 TD-INT ratio and is completing a whopping 70.5-percent of his passes.

A win for Tampa Bay would give them a two-game lead in the NFC South at the NFL's quarter mark, while a win for Atlanta would be a massive confidence booster after their relatively slow start.

ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) computer model has released its prediction for the Falcons-Bucs game.

ESPN's FPI believes that the Falcons have the edge in this game. The computer model gives Atlanta a 53.9-percent chance to win tonight's game.

Atlanta are the narrow favorites with sports books setting them as two-point favorites tonight.

The game will be played at 8:15 p.m. ET and will air on Amazon Prime Video.
