Several football players broke out their Donald Trump celebrations this past weekend, including San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa. With that said, only one of them received a video from the President-elect.
Last weekend, West Virginia defeated Cincinnati on the road by a final score of 31-24. During the third quarter of action, Nicco Marchiol had an eight-yard touchdown run for the Mountaineers. Shortly after he crossed the goal line, he decided to bust a move like Trump at one of his rallies.
On Tuesday night, Trump shared a video of Marchiol's celebration along with "YMCA" playing in the background.
Even though Trump's social media post didn't include a comment for Marchiol, it caught his attention.
"POTUS TRUSTS THE CLIMB! LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS," Marchiol replied.

Marchiol had a subpar performance against Cincinnati, completing 9-of-15 pass attempts for 156 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also had 18 yards on the ground and the rushing touchdown that Trump endorsed.
Unfortunately for Marchiol, he didn't receive a huge endorsement from his coach.
"Nicco played really well against Arizona, not so well on Saturday. From a fundamental standpoint, he has to be consistent," West Virginia coach Neal Brown said. "That's the biggest difference between him being super efficient versus Arizona and playing at a high level, and then him not playing as well on Saturday."
Marchiol has thrown for 434 yards this season with five touchdowns and two interceptions.
West Virginia would love a more efficient performance from Marchiol this Saturday against Baylor.
