Don Lemon has made a surprising and disturbing admission about his time at CNN.
The 59-year-old Baton Rouge, Louisiana native worked at CNN from 2014 to 2023. He was ousted by the network in a surprise move two years ago.
Now, Lemon is opening up about his time at the network. He's made a disturbing admission about his time working for the cable news giant.
Lemon, who is gay, claims that both men and women sexually harassed him when he was working at CNN.
"It's ridiculous," the former CNN host told Bill Maher on the comedian's "Club Random" podcast Sunday.
He added: "There are some things that are really egregious, but not everything isHarvey Weinstein-level."
Lemon revealed that a woman touched him inappropriately while he was getting something to eat in the CNN cafeteria in Atlanta, Georgia.
"This young lady tweaked my nipples and said, 'Oh, it's cold in here.' I said, 'OK, you realize that if I did that, they'd be walking me out the door right now?'" he said.
Lemon admitted that he "didn't care to go to HR" after the incident and he "didn't say anything because it's a double standard."
The former CNN host had more stories to share, too. He added that he slept over at a coworker's house following a party.
"I never told this story. Someone who I worked with also harassed me at CNN, and I never went to management," he claimed.
"First of all, I was so new there. She knew I was gay. It was just bizarre. She was going through a divorce. … It was weird."
He didn't go to HR once again, though.
"I thought, 'OK, they may find a way to get rid of me, because if I told this story, I don't know if they're gonna believe me or not,'" he continued.
"But then she was so mean to me after that, I was like, 'I should have told the story.'"
CNN has reportedly declined to comment on the allegations.
