The Los Angeles Dodgers are doing a little bit of trolling in light of their World Series win over the New York Yankees.

The Dodgers are auctioning off the baseball that Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge dropped during Game 5 of the World Series and the bidding has opened at $25,000.

It was the moment when Game 5 started to go sideways for the Yankees. They were up 5-0 in the fifth inning when Judge dropped a routine fly ball from Tommy Edman.

Judge dropped the ball and it led to the Dodgers scoring five runs in that inning before winning the game and the World Series, 7-6.

Eighty-five bids have already been made for the bowl and that number will likely go up, along with the price.

The Yankees will try to run it back for next season but they'll be without Juan Soto after they lost him to the New York Mets during free agency. Soto left for the Mets and signed a 15-year $765 million deal, the biggest in MLB and sports history.

He will also be the first player to earn more than $50 million in a single season. It goes to show how great of a player Soto is.

The Yankees made a great effort to try and bring him back but it wasn't enough. The 2024 season was the first time the Yankees made the World Series since they won it all back in 2009.

They'll open the season on Thursday, March 27 against the Milwaukee Brewers and will have a three-game series against them.

They'll see Soto for the first time when the two teams play part one of their Subway Series from May 16-18 in Yankee Stadium and then again in July from Citi Field.
