College Football Fans React To Travis Hunter Making History Thursday Night

Colorado star cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter made more college football history on Thursday.
He became the first player in college football history to win both the Bednarik and Biletnikoff Awards on Thursday. The Bednarik Award goes to the best defensive player in the country while the Biletnikoff Award goes to the best offensive player in the country.
Hunter excelled at both positions, finishing the regular season with 92 receptions for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns as a wide receiver and 31 total tackles, 11 passes defended, four interceptions, and a forced fumble as a cornerback.
He's projected to go top five in the 2025 NFL Draft due to how great of a player he is.
Fans were a bit mixed on social media when Hunter won both awards.
"Best corner not the best WR in college ball," one tweet read.
"He genuinely could end up being the greatest player we've ever seen," another tweet read.
"This should wrap up all discussions," another tweet read.
"Neither was deserved. I have no problem if he is the Heisman, but these two awards were ridiculous," another tweet read.
Hunter will try and go three-for-three when the Heisman Trophy gets announced this Saturday, December 14. He'll have a great shot at winning it since he was arguably the best player in college football this year.
Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty will also have a good shot at winning it since he put up video game-like numbers this year.
We'll see who wins it when the winner gets announced in a couple of days.
