President Donald Trump has wasted no time during his first week back in the Oval Office. With that said, he made a decision on Friday that generated a handful of reactions from the American people.

Trump has decided to terminate Dr. Anthony Fauci's security detail. That's not really a huge surprise given their history. Fauci has become a very polarizing figure in the world of politics in large part because he was the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during the pandemic in 2020.

When asked about his decision, Trump made it clear that he'll feel zero remorse for Fauci.

"I think you know, when you work for government, at some point, your security detail comes off, and you know, you can't have them forever," Trump said. "They all made a lot of money. They can hire their own security too. All the people you're talking about, they can go out, I can give them some good numbers of very good security people. They can hire their own security. They all made a lot of money. Fauci made a lot of money."

Well, CNN is reporting that Fauci has already hired his own private security.

Not everyone will approve of this move by Trump, but it's pretty evident that Danica Patrick does.

Earlier this Friday, the former NASCAR driver shared the news on her Instagram Story along with this caption: "Damn right."

This is the second time this week that Patrick has raved about Trump's moves in office. On Thursday, she applauded Trump for signing an executive order to declassify any remaining files in regards to assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"So lit," the former IndyCar Rookie of the Year wrote on social media.

Patrick has posted an awful lot of political content on social media over the past few months. Interestingly enough, the 2024 election was the first time she ever voted.

"I voted today, for the first time," Patrick said on Election Day. "I made a rule for myself that if I didn't vote I could not have an opinion about the outcome, because I didn't earn that right. Not this time. I voted for Donald Trump and I can't wait to have him make America great again!"

This won't be the last time Patrick comments about Trump's presidency.
