Just last weekend ESPN's College GameDay kicked off from Eugene, Oregon ahead of a top-five showdown between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon.

As the broadcast began and the cameras clicked on, fans noticed one of the legendary Lee Corso was absent for the second week in a row.

Host Rece Davis announced the 89-year-old analyst wouldn't be on the show and offered a comment from Corso. "I talked to him earlier and he said he was sorry he is missing is best friend, The Duck," Davis said.

Well, fast forward to Saturday morning and the tides have changed.

After missing two weeks of college football action, the legendary coach and analyst returned to his rightful place on the ESPN College GameDay booth alongside his good friend Kirk Herbstreit.

"Great to have Lee Corso back on @CollegeGameDay this morning, starting at 9a ET. We missed him the last two weeks. Coach is already flashing the on-set in Austin," ESPN PR executive Bill Hofheimer said along with a photo of Corso and Herbstreit.

Fans loved to see Corso back on the set.

"Great to see Lee Corso back on college Game day! It ain't the same without him," one person said.

"So good to see Lee Corso back on the @CollegeGameDay set in Austin. Corso was absent for two weeks 'under the weather.' Looking good in that suit, coach!" said another.

"Before you start complaining, Lee Corso has forgotten more about college football than you know about college football and yet, he still knows more about college football than you do," added a third.

It's good to see Corso back!
