Melanie Collins had the opportunity to cover one of the most dominant NFL performances of the season on Sunday.
Collins was in Detroit for the Lions' 52-6 blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Lions moved to 9-1 on the season and maintained their hold on the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. Quarterback Jared Goff threw for 412 yards and four touchdowns, two to Amon-Ra St. Brown, while David Montgomery ran for two scores and Jahmyr Gibbs added another touchdown on the ground.
On Monday, Collins shared some photos of her workday, including postgame shots of her interviewing Goff on the field.
"Had a front row seat to 644 yards of total offense and the best offensive performance in @detroitlionsnfl history! #Week11," Collins wrote.
The Penn State alum's outfit, a dark blue all-denim getup, turned heads and attracted comments.
"LOVE this suit!! (And you!) 🔥," said Collins' CBS colleague Aditi Kinkhabwala.
"This fit!!!!!!" added NFL Network's Bridget Condon.
"This SUIT and YOU!!!! 😍😍😍," chimed in broadcaster Natalie Kalibat Witten.
"Oooo need this outfit link! Perfection ❤️❤️," another commenter wrote.
"Awesome photos!! Lovely outfit!!🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼," a fifth person chimed in.
Collins has now been at CBS for several years, but prior to that, she worked for Yahoo Sports, covering the Winter Olympics, World Cup, NCAA Tournament and more.
When she's not working the sideline or on the mic, Collins runs an interior design business on the side, meaning she's usually quite busy.
This weekend, Collins and her broadcast teammates Kevin Harlan and Trent Green will be in Las Vegas for the AFC West matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos. The Broncos are aiming to snap a playoff drought dating back to 2015, and at 6-5 find themselves firmly in the hunt for an AFC wild card berth.
Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday on CBS.
