Meet The Wives And Girlfriends Of NFL Quarterbacks NFC Edition (1:20)

Carrie Underwood is waiting all day for Sunday night - just like the rest of us.

However she's waiting for a slightly different reason. The country music superstar who wows football fans before the biggest games of the week every Sunday night gets a nice little payday for her work.

"Once again, the incredible Sunday Night Football team came up with a fresh, exciting visual concept that really gave us a chance to play," Carrie said before last season. "I loved shooting the show open again this year at our home away from home, The Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, and can't wait for another season of football!"

Why can't she wait? Well, according to reports, Carrie earns $1 million per Sunday night theme song. That's good for $18 million per season after the league moved the season to 17 games.

It also leaves the door open for even more money. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell hasn't exactly denied the league is thinking of extending the season even more - which would help Carrie's wallet.

Not that she needs it. Underwood is reportedly worth close to $150 million.
