The Cleveland Browns hold the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL draft. As things stand right now, there isn't a clear idea about what the AFC North franchise is planning to do with this selection.

They have been linked with quarterback Shedeur Sanders and EDGE Abdul Carter, but the options don't stop there for the Browns. Several reports revealed that the Browns held a private workout with Miami Hurricanes quarterback prospect Cam Ward.

A couple of days after being questioned for missing Ward's Pro Day, the team's brass went to the city to take a closer look.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported that general manager Andrew Berry and coach Kevin Stefanski were in attendance to watch Ward showcase his skills on Wednesday.

In his first and only season with the Hurricanes, Ward completed 305 of 454 pass attempts, tallying 4,313 passing yards, 39 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Before the Browns, the Tennessee Titans were reportedly set to see Ward in another private workout. The race to land Ward appears to be heating up, but the Titans have the upper hand since they own the first overall selection of the special night.

In the early stages of the offseason, Shedeur Sanders was considered a bigger challenger for the No. 1 overall selection, but Ward's case has strengthened over recent weeks. The Titans are still willing to listen to offers for the quarterback, but the package will need to be excellent to change the team's mind since they started watching him with better eyes.
