Former Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton decided to break his streak of not attending Heisman ceremonies to show his support for Travis Hunter. He did so in the way he knows best: With a bold outfit.
When ESPN's Chris Fowler introduced Newton on the stage for the start of the Heisman Trophy award presentation, he showed up wearing a large hat that had the famous Heisman pose etched onto the front of it.
Fowler and the fans in attendance couldn't take their eyes off of it and applauded when he tipped his head forward to show it off.

Fans on social media who may be unfamiliar with Newton's wardrobe habits were obviously a bit surprised.
"Cam Newton's hat is especially outrageous tonight," one user posted on X.
"When did Cam Newton initially fall victim to Big Hat?" another wondered.
But people who are actually familiar with Newton's hat game know that this is pretty much par for the course for him.
"Find me a normal cam newton hat. I dare you," one remarked.
"One of the most normal things he has worn," another said bluntly.
Cam Newton won his own Heisman Trophy back in 2010 after leading Auburn to one of the best seasons in program history. As a junior that year he completed 66.1-percent of his passes for 2,854 yards and 30 touchdowns while adding an SEC-leading 1,473 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground as Auburn went 14-0 and won the national championship.
Newton would parlay his wildly successful year at Auburn into an 11-year career in the NFL that saw him reach three Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team.
In 2015, Newton led the Carolina Panthers to a 15-1 regular season record, winning the NFL MVP award and leading the team to their second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.
