Two weeks ago, Caitlin Clark told reporters that she was dealing with a "pretty gross" injury. Prior to Friday night's game between the Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream, she finally revealed what was wrong with her health.

Clark told the media that she suffered a ruptured eardrum during a game against the New York Liberty.

This admission from Clark was her response to a question about her top "welcome to the WNBA" moment so far.

"Honestly, I've been popped on a couple screens," Clark said. "I actually ruptured my ear drum when we were in New York on a tough screen. So if I had to pick one [welcome to the WNBA moment] right now, it would be that. Great screens, I just didn't hear them. It was kind of my own fault."

Well, that sounds incredibly painful.

Clark didn't say which player set the screen that resulted in her rupturing her eardrum, but we'd have to imagine it occurred when she ran into Breanna Stewart.

Clark hasn't allowed her injury to slow her down at all. The No. 1 pick is averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game.

WNBA fans will see Clark in action on Sunday when the Fever take on the Sky in a highly-anticipated matchup.
