Bill Maher Makes Vow To Trump Administration Before Return To White House

"Real Time" host Bill Maher hasn't had a lot of good things to say in the past about President-elect Donald Trump, that's for sure.
Maher made it abundantly clear that he didn't vote for Trump in this year's election. However, he wasn't in the mood to panic about his future in America. He said, "A lot of people are freaking out. You know what? I opened the window today, the sun was still shining, the birds were still singing, my gardener was packing for Mexico, that's the thing."
During a panel this Friday, Maher provided additional commentary on Trump's return to the White House. Despite his criticism in the past, he's willing to give the 47th president of the United States a chance.
In fact, Maher claims he won't "pre-hate" anything Trump chooses to do while in office.
"This is not who I would choose to administer the colonic but it's not like the bureaucracy isn't bloated," Maher said, via the New York Post. "It's not like the debt isn't $36 trillion. it's not like there aren't thousands of regulations that do stop people from living lives that they could live better and don't do anything. There is woke in the military. Whatever they're going after… I'm not going to pre-hate anything.
"Do I have really good, optimistic feelings about it? No, I don't. I'm just not gonna pre-hate. I can't get into that mind[set]. Let's see what the disruptors can do. Because, quite frankly, the experts have just sort of, like, let something go for so long that it's just sclerotic now and constipated."
Once Maher sees the results, his opinion could change. For now, he's going to let things play out.
Trump will be sworn in on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.
