Barron Trump is only a college freshman, but according to reports, the son of the President of the United States already knows what he wants to do for a living.
The 19-year-old college freshman celebrated his birthday this month. Barron Trump, who is attended New York University, celebrated his birthday on spring break. President Trump has referred to his youngest son as a "smart kid."
President Trump was asked if his son had more of an aptitude for business or politics, as his father obviously had success in both areas.
"Maybe technology," Trump said. "He can look at a computer. I try I turn it off. As I turn it off I turn off his laptop. I said, oh good. And I go back. Five minutes later, he's got his laptop. I say, how did you do that? None of your business, dad. No. He's got an unbelievable aptitude in technology."
"Barron's a very smart guy."
Meanwhile, Barron Trump has reportedly made it clear what kind of field he wants to get into.
Barron Trump is reportedly aspiring to be a businessman like his father. He reportedly doesn't plan on getting into politics right away, even if that's what some in the Republican Party might be hoping for.
From the report:
The youngest son of President Donald Trump turned 19 on Thursday, March 20, but sources tell PEOPLE that the aspiring businessman has "seen a lot" compared to his college-aged peers.
Barron is the only child of the president and his third wife, Melania Trump, who was largely hidden from the spotlight before graduating high school in May. Though he remains less visible than his much-older siblings, those in the Trump family's orbit have had more opportunities to get to know the first son amid his father's political comeback.
One social source tells PEOPLE that Barron is "an old soul who is smart, well-spoken and well-read."
Barron Trump does have quite the background, having grown up with businessman and politician Donald Trump as a father and European model Melania Trump as amother.
"He has lived through experiences others his age haven't," a source told PEOPLE. "He is well-grounded, he has seen a lot and he knows who he is."
It'll certainly be interesting to see what he ends up doing.
