Barack Obama Reacts To The Dodgers Winning The World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers showed their resiliency on Wednesday night during Game 5 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.
After falling into a 5-0 hole, it looked like the Dodgers would take a plane back to Los Angeles and prepare for Game 6. However, a series of calamitous errors from the Yankees gave Los Angeles new life - and a World Series title in the process.
New York raced out to a 5-0 lead after the Yankees' sleeping bats finally woke up with home runs by Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm and Giancarlo Stanton. A disastrous fifth inning, though, opened the door for the Dodgers, who stormed back to knot the game at five runs apiece before eventually winning the game 7-6.
Following the 4-1 World Series win over the Yankees, the Dodgers announced their title to the world on social media.
Former President Barack Obama weighed in, congratulating the Dodgers on their accomplishment and singling out World Series MVP Freddie Freeman for his record-setting performance.
"Congrats to the @Dodgers and MVP Freddie Freeman for winning the World Series!" Obama said on social media.

On the other side of the coin, Yankees fans wanted to remove manager Aaron Boone from the team, but that doesn't sound like it's happening.
"As such, Boone is expected back as manager in 2025, despite how the World Series went, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the team's thinking. That would have been the case even if the Yankees had been swept," Andy Martino of SNY reported.
There's always next year, Yankees fans.
