Over the weekend former President Donald Trump made headlines when he - for some reason - declared that the late Arnold Palmer was packing heat.

During a stop in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, home of the iconic golfer, Trump randomly started talking about Palmer's genitals. He gave a full description for those in attendance, claiming other golfers used to remark about the size of Palmer's member.

"Arnold Palmer was all man. I love women, but Arnold was ALL man. When he took showers with the other pros... they come out of there and said 'Oh my God, that's unbelievable!' He was something special. I had to tell you the shower part of the story because it's true," Trump said.

As one might imagine, his comments didn't sit well with the Palmer family.

Peg Palmer Wears, the daughter of Palmer, called out Trump's "inappropriate" comments during a recent interview.

"Being at the airport, which is named for my dad, where he flew out of to go to work every day or every week, you know, to come there and talk about … hackneyed anecdotes from the locker room … seemed disrespectful and inappropriate to me," Palmer Wears told ABC News on Monday.

She went on to suggest that Trump talk about something of substance during his rallies, rather than blather on about the penis of another man.

"The people coming to these rallies deserve substance about plans Trump has as a candidate, if he could elucidate on some of the threats he's made to people," Palmer Wears said. "I mean, these are important issues that should be discussed for people when they're getting ready to vote, and using my dad to cover over the important things just seems unacceptable to me."

The election is set for November 5.
