Aaron Rodgers' future has been the subject of numerous reports and rumors over the last few weeks.

There have been reports that the New York Jets want to move on from Rodgers in the offseason, if not sooner. Over the weekend, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that Rodgers "still wants to play in 2025, just not for the New York Jets." However, Rodgers disputed that notion during his weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."

"As far as my future goes, I haven't told anybody in my life that I wanna play in 2025 and not on the Jets," Rodgers said. "That's 100% false. I actually said the opposite. I said that I'm going to wait and see what happens at the end of the season and if they want me back and what happens with lJeff Ulbrich] and what happens with the offensive staff and obviously the GM at the time, then they just fired Joe [Douglas]. There's a lot of things out of my control when it comes to that."

Rodgers went on to say he has "really enjoyed" his time with the Jets, despite the team's struggles. The four-time MVP has not made up his mind about playing in 2025, but if he does, he says he wants to remain in New York.

"I don't even know if I wanna play yet but New York would be my first option," Rodgers said.

We'll have to wait a few months to see what if Rodgers wants to continue playing.

In the meantime, the Jets are in the market for a new head coach and general manager.

This week, the franchise hired its former general manager, Mike Tannenbaum, along with ex-Minnesota Vikings GM Rick Spielman, both of The 33rd Team, to assist in the searches for both key positions. The 33rd Team is an NFL technology and media company.

Now 3-8 on the season, the Jets will host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium.
