Injury Update

It wasn't a super long list of non-participants for Day 1 of practice, however Demerio Houston and Cam Echols didn't participate in any drills and there were a couple more that were limited participants.

Head coach and general manager Dave Dickenson spoke about how his team is shaping up injury wise.

"We're hopeful," he said. "We have a couple guys that are in doubt. It was a rough, tough game and it's a long year so I want to make sure I do the right thing but I also, to be honest with you, I have to look to my coaches to give advice. I have to see where we are at, I can't suit up a player that's a 10-play guy, he's got to be able to get through the game and that's what I'll look to do."

Staying Disciplined

The Stampeders had just three accepted penalties against them totaling 40-yards on Saturday with one of them coming in overtime that the group persevered through for the win.

Dickenson talked about his team’s discipline.

"Most of them were penalties you can live with," explained Dickenson. "The last one on the interception, we were lucky Rene (Paredes) put it through the uprights, could have hurt us. We're going to get penalties like holds, you're going to get aggressive type of penalties, what you don't want are those pre-snap offsides, illegal motions, these types of things and our guys have been focused."

Looking Ahead

As mentioned, the Alouettes have yet to lose a game this season. They have scored a league-high 123 points and given up the least with 73 among teams with four games played.

The Stamps head coach talked about what he has seen from Montreal.

"They're playing well," said Dickenson. "They've been able to keep their continuity over there and you can tell they're in the same system and same coaches are doing the right things and they are a team that has three phases, all three are playing well. It's a big challenge for us on the road in Montreal. We know that's always challenging but it's nice in the early season to see where you are at."
