1. Us

The Stampeders return from their first bye-week of the season looking to get back in the win column after falling 26-17 to the BC Lions in Week 2. Dedrick Mills had 99 receiving yards and 46 more on the ground to lead the way for Calgary.

2. Them

Winnipeg comes into the game with some injuries to big name players and are 0-3 for the first time since 2012 – and are at risk of losing their first four of the season for the first time since 2005. Zach Collaros has yet to throw a touchdown pass in his three starts this year so you can bet the Bombers will be hungry on Saturday night. They fell 26-24 to the Lions in Week 3.

3. Head-To-Head

These two teams met three times last season with the Bombers winning all three, including a tight 19-18 battle in Week 11 in Calgary. Winnipeg has won six-straight regular-season games dating back to the 2022 season.

4. Fast Facts

By appearing in this week's contest, Calgary kicker René Paredes will tie Alondra Johnson for fifth place in Stampeders franchise history with 214 regular-season games played.

Starting at 3 p.m., the Gridiron Gardens – located on the field immediately south of McMahon Stadium – will offer plenty of family-friendly activities.

The Junior Hype Team will perform on Saturday and the SuperDogs will be featured during the halftime show.

The Stampeders are once again pleased to team with Purolator Inc. to host to the annual Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive in support of the Calgary Food Bank. Fans can take part by bringing non-perishable food items or making cash donations to Purolator volunteers stationed at the stadium gates. All proceeds from the food drive will support the Calgary Food Bank.

Thanks to our Director of Communications Jean Lefebvre for handing off these facts!

 5. Who's Where

 6. Players to Watch

Stamps: DB Demerio Houston: Houston faces off with his former team for the first time. He played three seasons with the Bombers before making the jump to the Red & White in the offseason as a free agent. Houston has nine tackles and one interception this season.

Bombers: QB Zach Collaros: It has not been a typical start to the season for Collaros who has zero touchdown passes and three interceptions in three games. We will see if the back-to-back CFL MOP in 2021 and 2022 can do anything to turn those numbers around on Saturday against Houston and the Stampeders defence.

7. Quotable

“You shouldn’t need other motivation to try to win, because winning is the name of the game.” – Defensive end James Vaughters on the team’s approach to battling the Bombers this week.
