Who Will Win At TNA Genesis 2025? | Question Of The Day
Today at 08:44 AM
Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
The first TNA Wrestling pay-per-view of the year is about to unfold tonight with TNA Genesis 2025. Before it kicks off later on, let’s toss out our final predictions for who will win the scheduled matches.
My question for you today is “Who do you think will win at TNA Genesis 2025?”
Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.
As far as my answer…
[Countdown to Genesis]: Frankie Kazarian vs Leon Slater | Tag Team Match: The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) vs. Eric Young and Steve Maclin
I know nothing about these two feuds to be able to contribute to these, other than that I don’t think Kazarian should lose if he’s to be treated like the next potential world champion and that at any point, The System winning a match wouldn’t surprise me considering they’re the top heel stable that a lot of this still revolves around, so I’m going with those two picks.
Singles Match for the TNA X Division Championship: Moose (c) vs. Ace Austin
Moose is unveiling a new championship belt here. If he drops the title, that would be insane and defeat the whole purpose. Of course, this is pro wrestling, so a pure lapse in logic is never too far away. I just don’t think it’s an unsafe bet to go with Moose just retaining.
Tag Team Match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: Spitfire (Jody Threat and Dani Luna) (c) vs. Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance (with The Personal Concierge)
Realistically, flip a coin from my perspective. As someone who doesn’t watch Impact and has only been checking out the pay-per-views as of late, I don’t know if any particular storyline trajectories or anything of that sort, but I do know TNA was very much in the habit of changing titles on events very frequently. I’m not going all in with my full wallet on team Elegance winning, but I’d bet $5.
Singles Match: Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana
They’ve proven me wrong with a few other things recently, but I think with Josh Alexander leaving the company very soon, and Santana having a very good win-loss record, there are far more reasons to keep Santana winning and have Alexander lose on his way out. The only way I could see them not doing that is if they’re hoping at the last minute to re-sign Alexander, but as that appears significantly unlikely, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that being the finish.
Singles Match: Jordynne Grace vs. Tessa Blanchard
Similar to the Alexander situation, Grace is gooooone. She’s leaving as soon as possible, and by the time we blink, she’ll be in the Royal Rumble and competing on NXT, Raw or SmackDown. Blanchard is going to be the woman filling the void, so she’s going to win this, even if she has to cheat to get the job done.
Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Rosemary
You can’t take the title off Masha Slamovich so soon. She has to beat Rosemary here, feud with at least one other person, and then, she can drop it to Tessa Blanchard. It’s as simple as that.
Tag Team Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) (c) vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz)
I could VERY much see the tag titles changing hands and The Hardys putting over The Rascalz as a sort of passing of the torch type of dethroning—so much so that I’m blinding myself to any other potential alternative ways another tag team becomes the next in line that might be pretty obvious (or, at least, another possibility).
Singles Match for the TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Joe Hendry
The fact that they came back around to this and have spent the past few events either purposely avoiding Hendry being in this position, or setting him up to be someone to watch out for, and his teasing that something would happen around the time of Royal Rumble, has me wearing my tin foil hat that Hendry is not only winning this title here, but he’s going to bring that belt with him as an entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
