WWE will host the 2025 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE and TNA Wrestling recently announced a multi-year partnership designed to create unique crossover opportunities between both brands. After the announcement, several NXT talents appeared at TNA Genesis 2025 on Sunday.

There has been a lot of speculation about which TNA star might represent the company in this year’s Royal Rumble. In previous years, Mickie James and Jordynne Grace have filled that role.

Pwinsider is reporting that they've "heard from WWE creative sources there has already been a pitch for a top TNA star to be in the Men's Royal Rumble match."

While the identity of this star remains a mystery, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has appeared at various NXT events and might be an ideal choice for this role.
