The Rizzler Is Coming To AEW Full Gear 2024, Identity Of Swerve Strickland's Decoy On Dynamite

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland had a decoy to draw the attention of the Hurt Syndicate on AEW Dynamite.

During this week’s show, a person was shown wearing Strickland's coat backstage. As MVP and Shelton Benjamin accosted the man, it wasn’t Strickland afterall.

Shaun Smith took to Twitter after the show to reveal that he was the “extra” used in the segment.

Smith often works for independent promotions H20, 1CW, and NYWC. He also worked the November 2nd episode of AEW Collision, teaming with Joe Keys in a losing effort to Brian Cage and Lance Archer.

Also on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Mina Shirakawa & Mariah May will be in action on this week’s edition of Rampage.

As of this writing, this is the first match announced for the show.

And finally, the Costco Guys are bringing The Rizzler in for AJ's match with QT Marshall at AEW Full Gear 2024.

The Rizzler will serve as the guest timekeeper for Costco Guy AJ's match with QT Marshall on the Zero Hour pre-show.
