Saudi Arabia Will Host 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Event

According to a report from PWInsider, the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble will take place in Saudi Arabia.
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as it had been previously mentioned multiple times over the years how Saudi Arabia was heavily vested in bringing one of the biggest shows over, with Turki Alalshikh (chairman of the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority) telling Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that they were trying to get WrestleMania and Royal Rumble around 2026, 2027.
With that in mind, fans should prepare themselves for a possible announcement of WrestleMania taking place in Saudi Arabia in 2027, as that feels more and more like a possibility.
Of course, WWE had previously kicked off this agreement with Saudi Arabia with the Greatest Royal Rumble event, which featured a 50-man Royal Rumble for a championship that was never seen again. That match was won by Braun Strowman and has been largely forgotten about, typically being referred to as a “non-traditional” Royal Rumble to skirt the records made during that bout.
