Report – WWE Talent Upset Over New Comped Tickets Policy
Today at 11:24 PM
The recent changes in WWE’s policy regarding comped tickets have stirred some frustration among members of the roster.
According to a report from Fightful Select, several talents have revealed that WWE is no longer providing complimentary tickets for friends and family as they had in the past. Instead, talent are now given a pre-sale link, allowing their loved ones to purchase tickets before the general public. This change has been attributed to WWE’s growing popularity and increased demand for tickets, with a higher-up confirming that fewer “seat fillers” are being used at events compared to previous years.
The new process for obtaining tickets involves talent submitting a request for comped tickets, and if approved, they are notified along with a confirmation sent to the recipient. However, many talent have expressed frustration that complimentary tickets are no longer readily available. While it isn’t clear if the change is universal, multiple members of the roster have stated that they’ve been directly impacted by it.
Some talent have voiced concerns over the lack of written communication regarding this change, with one wrestler mentioning that they only learned about the policy shift through talent relations. Another talent revealed that they had been approved for comped tickets months in advance, only to be asked for a credit card to pay for them the week of the show.
