11/14/2024 04:14 PM
Former X-Division Champion "Speedball" Mike Bailey and TNA Wrestling have parted ways.
According to multiple reports, Bailey’s contract expired on November 1 and he didn't work the recent TNA Impact TV tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Instead, he worked some indie events in Washington State.
Bailey previously signed a contract with the promotion in 2021. Earlier this week, Bailey’s profile was removed from the TNA website.
Fightful Select is reporting that Bailey is expected to receive interest from multiple promotions, including WWE and AEW. The report states that he was backstage at an AEW event earlier this year.
It is said that Bailey is well liked within the industry, and he will have offers from just about everyone.
Finally, it was added that Bailey was saying his goodbyes backstage at the TNA TV tapings in Detroit, MI. He reportedly gave a heartfelt thank you to the people in the locker room.
