Report – Some In WWE Believe Corey Graves Is Trying To Get Fired

Was Corey Graves’ recent outburst on Twitter part of an effort by the veteran commentator to get fired? Some in WWE believe this is the case.
This week, Graves fired off a tweet that many saw as critical of WWE’s commentary reshuffling that saw him moved to WWE NXT.
Graves later teased having a lot to say on this week’s WWE NXT but didn’t appear on the show and was instead seen at Orlando airport.
On “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Dave Meltzer reports that Graves was told a couple of weeks ago that he’d be replaced by Wade Barrett on SmackDown.
Graves was unhappy with the update. The report adds that there are people in WWE who think he was trying to get fired with his tweet.
Meltzer added that if Graves is trying to get fired from WWE, then the promotion will make a point not to fire him at this time.
