Report – Possible Reason Why Dijak Was Drafted To WWE RAW

Dijak is currently a free agent following the expiration of his WWE contract on June 28.

Dijak’s return to the WWE main roster during the second night of the 2024 WWE Draft was short-lived, culminating in a loss to Xavier Woods in the Speed Championship #1 Contender’s tournament on the June 19th episode of WWE Speed.

The match marked Dijak’s final WWE appearance. He announced his departure on June 27, revealing that no contract renewal discussions had taken place.

Reflecting on his time with WWE, Dijak has since expressed frustration with his transition from NXT to the main roster and his limited screen time.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that WWE had no intentions of renewing Dijak’s contract, leading to his removal from NXT and subsequent sidelining until the contract expired.

He said, "Wasn't thrilled from my understanding but also knows that's not his role anymore and didn't have anything for him because he was off NXT. They probably called him up, knowing that they were going to let him go and didn't want him featured heavily on NXT ahead of that."

Dijak has since returned to the independent wrestling scene, appearing at Blitzkrieg Pro Wrestling and delivering a passionate, albeit profanity-filled promo.

It remains to be seen what Dijak’s next move will be following his departure from WWE.
