Raven is the central figure in an upcoming documentary, and the ECW/WWE/WCW alumnus states that creating it was quite a challenging endeavor.
The documentary, “Nevermore: The Raven Effect,” will be released at a yet-to-be-disclosed date. The trailer debuted this week.
During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Raven discussed his experiences while filming the movie.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On his reaction to watching the movie in the edit process: "It was painful. I got enough issues to hold a magazine stand… [so] it was rough. Every time the director wanted me to look at the movie to see what I thought, I was like 'Ugh, do I have to watch it?' I had blown it off for a couple of months, and finally I sit down to watch it, and it was brutal going through it."
On giving the director input on the film: "A lot of…he wanted my opinion on [whether] to keep this or move that or whatever. And then I wanted to put my two cents in. It was up to him to make the movie he wanted to make, but I wanted to put my two cents in. Like, if I thought…there was this shot in earlier of somebody that had nothing to do with me, then I was like 'Yeah, it really doesn't apply, you know what I mean? Let's not keep that in there.' But watching it back every time, it was brutal."
Brett Lauderdale has stated that he raised Nick Gage's pay for a match against Jon Moxley at GCW following a request from the AEW World Champion.
Gage mentioned on Blvd Bullies that he has temporarily “moved on” from GCW but acknowledged that Lauderdale is his closest friend and commended him for contributing greatly to his career.
Lauderdale tweeted, "I will now make a shocking revelation:
Yes, I was paying Jon Moxley – a major tv star of nearly a decade, a world champion, and the hottest wrestler in the industry more money than I was paying Nick Gage for their match in GCW.
Yes, at Mox's request I did end up increasing Nick's pay for the match, to an amount equal to what he was paid to wrestle Chris Jericho on television.
Not that any of you actually care about Nick, but he is my brother of 20+ years and that will never change.
In this same interview, the hosts repeatedly tried to get him to talk bad about me and he forcefully declined. Nick not only referred to me as his friend, but his FAMILY.
We have been thru alot in 20 years. The real ones know. And to everyone else, go f**k yourself."

Mistico has announced that he is relinquishing the CMLL World Historic Middleweight Championship.
The CMLL star stated on the October 30th episode of CMLL Informa that he is approaching light heavyweight status and is feeling exhausted from the number of title defenses he has had.
Mistico mentioned that he is transitioning to light heavyweight to pursue those championships.
As a result, CMLL plans to hold a tournament for the now-vacated title, which Mistico held for 2,263 days. He won it by defeating Ultimo Guerrero on August 21st, 2018.
